I agree with all David Fotland has been saying. I think every strong go player would agree.
In fact, I think I am stronger than most European 4ds at 9x9, simply because I realize it is a serious game, and I realize how early you have to start reading out variations deep enough until you can count out the endgame. Every other 4d could get there pretty quickly, and a professional who studies 9x9 for a week could probably write a book that would give me a lot more insights, and improve my 9x9 go much more than reading 5 books on 19x19 go.
