So far, each doubling has produced extremely lopsided
scores in 19x19 Go. In fact, the superiority of the
higher level has increased with each doubling - but
I think that is a temporary phenomenon that will
eventually turn around. I think this also happened
in 9x9 go at really low levels.

The superiority of a doubling in 19x19 go is considerably
more than in 9x9. Someone on this group pointed out
a theory why a few weeks ago which I agree with.
With 19x19 go there are many more moves and thus more
opportunities to demonstrate your superiority. The way
I look at it, this is about error rates and degree's of
error and each doubling reduces that a little bit for each
move but a lot when considered over all the moves in a game.

  0002 vs 0001  ->  178 / 200   89.0%
  0004 vs 0002  ->  187 / 200   93.5%
  0008 vs 0004  ->   83 /  88   94.3%
  0016 vs 0008  ->    7 /   7  100.0%
  0032 vs 0016  ->  221 / 227   97.4%

  0016 -> 16384 play-outs per game
  0032 -> 32768 play-outs per game
