Public bug reported: If you are using a long prompt in ZSH that does not fit on a single line when resized. When you resize the window from full screen to the original size, you will loose the previous line of text.
Toggling fullscreen multiple times will remove multiple lines. This does not appear to happen if the prompt fits with in the resized screen. This also does not happen while using BASH or while using xterm.
