** Description changed:
- I am using Ubuntu MATE 17.04 64-bit with Compiz enabled.
- On some days the software updater appears in the window list. When i click on
it the window is not shown on desktop, rather the window removes from window
list. I have to click on "Show desktop" to get this window back.

With Marco as WM this problem does not exist.
By the way: i noticed this problem also on Ubuntu MATE 16.10.
