I set up a reminder to check this issue once again on Utopic. So, today I went to http://packages.ubuntu.com/utopic/compiz, clicked on the Changelog link, searched for #269904, and didn't find it.
Tank you Mateusz for having added an utopic tag to this issue. However as time passes, I can't help but think this bug will never be officially fixed on Utopic, since its "end of life" date is just two months from now.
