Encountered on 13.04 running in vmware fusion 4.x (ie: no 3d, so it
should be reverting to llvm-pipe presumably). It reported the error that
led me here, but continued to work anyway. Compiz version 0.9.9;
specifically
rachel@daring:~$ apt-cache policy compiz
compiz:
Installed: 1:0.9.9~daily13.02.08-0ubuntu1
Candidate: 1:0.9.9~daily13.02.08-0ubuntu1
Version table:
*** 1:0.9.9~daily13.02.08-0ubuntu1 0
500 http://gb.archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/ raring/main amd64 Packages
100 /var/lib/dpkg/status
May be slightly old versions; first time I ran the vm for a week or so,
so about to do upgrades, but this happened first. I'll be back if it
happens again after reboot...
