The offset looks like it is fixed here, too. There are other problems with it though - you need to restart unity because turning previews on stops the un-hide part of the auto-hide feature from working, and previews aren't shown for some applications, like firefox and chromium. And where the preview does appear for multi-window apps, only the first window is shown.
