I have very slow Ubuntu, I do use allot of Compiz plugins and 11.10 is unusable. scrolling and window dragging etc is too slow. I use TwinView through proprietary Nvidia Drivers. Gnome Shell I.e. with Mutter is much better Has this been fixed?
