Ok, a few more tests in OO... If I give _focus_ to thunderbird before I minimize it, the misplaced bug does _not_ occur any more when called back from message indicator (but I get a stacking bug, Firefox window staying on top but not getting focus).
If I minimize Thunderbird directly after opening (thus not clicking in the window, only in the main title bar), the bug still occurs.
