thank you for your quick reply. I thought this was Cairo related, since I only had it when running Cairo in 11.04. The evolution launcher I created still acts strange, there is no ball under it. I will try to get this issue again. I updated today and saw unity updates, maybe there are fixes in it.
I posted the bug to try and get help in identifying it, if you think it is a compiz bug, I will try that.
