Hmm, there are different issues here. Things like the libsigc or libunityshell crashers are probably distinct.
Can you install apport if not already and activate it (see https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Apport). Now, considering only the disappearance of the decorations, what is the best way of reproducing it on your system, and which change of settings exactly triggers the crash? For example, i'm running compiz + unity here and changing the theme in System Prefs > Appearance > Theme: ambiance or radiance, doesn't result in a crash. Nor does ccsm > window decoration > mipmap: on or off. ** Changed in: compiz (Ubuntu) Status: New => Incomplete -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of compiz packagers, which is subscribed to compiz in ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/682986 Title: borders and panels disappears whenever appearance is changed _______________________________________________ Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~compiz Post to : [email protected] Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~compiz More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
