after install karmic on a IBM T41 (alpha6) i have no Desktop, and also
no wallpaper. if i make a new directoy on the desktop. the new directory
(or simple text-file) was not shown on the desktop. i see my
/Desktop/new directoy only in nautilus (the files, the was located on
the desktop, i see only in nautilus
