I am using Jaunty as updated to-date and this is occurring to me on an ongoing random basis.
It does not seem to be size / shape related and one in three windows will come up undrawn. I am using compiz on a system that has been updated from a full install on hardy. I have nvidia hardware + proprietary driver.
