Dear all,

It is our great pleasure to invite you to the event C3: Complexity, Computing, 
and Consciousness, which will take place in November 9th and 10th, 2023. The 
event aims to foster interdisciplinary discussions focused on the relationship 
between complexity science, consciousness research, and artificial intelligence.

In an era where Artificial Intelligence β€” particularly Large Language Models β€” 
plays an increasingly significant role in our lives, exploring the intersection 
of consciousness and AI is not only timely but also essential. The lineup of 
speakers in this event includes distinguished experts from diverse fields, 
including Philosophy, Complexity Science, Neuroscience, and Computer Science.

Event Details:
- Dates: November 9th and 10th, 2023
- Location: IoP Campus, King's Cross, London, UK
- Format: Hybrid (in person + zoom), allowing remote participation from 
anywhere in the world.

Participation to the event (either in person or remote) is free. Please find 
the registration form in the webpage.

Abstract submission for short talks at the event is also open. We encourage PhD 
students and early career researchers to submit a brief abstract for a short 
talk at the event. To submit, simply visit the event's website and find the 
relevant section.

Registration deadline for participation: November 6th, 2023
Abstract Submission Deadline: October 23th, 2023

The workshop will also host a public panel discussion on the topic β€œIs there an 
I in AI?” Registration for the the public event are also open, and can be found
