The work will take place within the Soft Tissue Biomechanics group led by Prof. Johannes Weickenmeier at Stevens Institute of Technology: www.weickenmeierlab.com<http://www.weickenmeierlab.com>. This is a full-time position to work on developing computational models to predict deep white matter lesion formation and progression. **Scientific Profile Requested** Requirements: PhD in Mechanical Engineering, Physics, Computer Science, Maths, and related fields. Skills and track-record: * Constitutive modelling of soft tissues, numerical simulation, multiphysics modeling * Analytical study of numerical simulations * Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative research team. * Ability to present and publish research outcomes in spoken (talks) and written (papers) form. * Fluency in spoken and written English.
