Dear Comp-Neuro mailing list members,

The fourth edition of the Canadian Computational Neuroscience Spotlight
(CCNS) <https://ccnsmeeting.ca/#04-ccns-2023-program>, taking place October
5-6 online via Crowdcast (register here <https://www.crowdcast.io/c/ccnsv4>),
is fast approaching, as is our first deadline for abstract submission for
trainee talks. *To be considered for a spotlight presentation, submit your
abstract

by
September 1 at 5 p.m. EDT*; late abstracts will be accepted until September
13 at 5 p.m. EDT but will only be considered for parallel talks as space
allows.

As a point of clarification, *you do not need to be Canadian, or be located
at a Canadian institution, to submit an abstract*: while the meeting's
namesake comes from its original impetus in the early stages of the
pandemic, we have fully embraced the international nature of virtual
meetings, including in these trainee talks. We invite submissions from
trainees at all levels, and anticipate that all submissions reasonably
falling under the broad banner of "computational neuroscience" will be
accepted unless the demand far exceeds our expectations.

Please feel free to reach out to the organizing committee if you have any
questions.

Sincerely,

The CCNS Organizing Committee:

SickKids Research Institute.
