Dear Flink Community, We would like to invite you to submit abstracts for Big Data Tech Warsaw (22 Feb 2018) - one of the largest technical Big Data conference in central Europe.
The conference agenda contains 4 tracks and one of them is "real-time processing" that is dedicated to stream processing, real-time analytics etc. This will be the 4rd edition of the conference and in the past we have a number of great presentations given by Flink committers e.g. Stephan Ewen, Fabian Hueske, Maxymilian Michels, Dawid Wysakowicz and more. You don't have to be a Flink committer to be accepted to speak at the conference, though :) We expect 500+ attendees, so there is a great chance to share your knowledge with large audience of technical folks. You can find more details here http://bigdatatechwarsaw.eu/cfp. The deadline for submission is October 16th, 2017. Please note submissions about case studies, technology that solves real-world problems, best practices and lessons learned are particularly welcome. *Since the conference is targeted to the technical audience, the submissions containing outright sales pitches and commercial presentations will be rejected.* The main goal of the conference is knowledge sharing. If you are in doubts, please have a look at the summary of the last edition of the conference <http://bigdatatechwarsaw.eu/relacja-2017>, and blog post <https://www.linkedin.com/pulse/review-warsaw-bigdata-summit-2017-simon-caruana> written by one of attendees or review of the presentations </> written by GetInData. Last time many speakers actually stayed for the weekend in Warsaw and we had nice social events and sightseeing together. We will do the same in 2018. If we happen to drink vodka together, we guarantee to deliver everyone into correct train or flight ;) [image: Obraz w treści 1] [image: Obraz w treści 5] [image: Obraz w treści 1]
