This is "interesting" 1. this on trunk? Given the wildfly settings, that sounds likely 2. is there a proxy in the way? 3. And if so, how are you passing down the proxy settings? 4. if not, is this a recent change, i.e. happened after the optional openssl support went in?
file a JIRA on this, link it as a dependency of HADOOP-15620. If there aren't proxies in the way, this is potentially a regression, probably related to the openssl changes >
