http://protobuf.googlecode.com/svn-history/r482/trunk/ Based on the commit log, I created v2.5.0 tag and created tar.gz file for the communities: https://github.com/oza/protobuf/releases/tag/v2.5.0 I know this is a temporal fix, but feel free to use it.
