Harsh J resolved HADOOP-2454. ----------------------------- Resolution: Not A Problem I do not know about OSGi integration but after mavenization in 0.23+, running Hadoop from inside Eclipse is very simple to do (from a dev POV). I'll resolve this as it is now stale, but I hope to come up with a wiki page or instruction mail for some stuff around this on the email lists soon. > Run Hadoop inside or from the Eclipse plug-in > --------------------------------------------- > > Key: HADOOP-2454 > URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/HADOOP-2454 > Project: Hadoop Common > Issue Type: New Feature > Reporter: Christophe Taton > > To ease experimentation with Hadoop, this would allow an Eclipse user to > start Hadoop from the Eclipse plug-in. One way to do this is to start Hadoop > inside Eclipse; Hadoop will then be packaged as an OSGi bundle and run inside > an OSGi container (see HADOOP-1844). -- This message is automatically generated by JIRA.
