Hi, I just added a comment to HADOOP-6484 ( https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/HADOOP-6484) that adds OSGI headers to the jar manifest. Is anyone interested in getting the jar OSGI compatible? This makes it a lot easier for third parties to integrate parts of hadoop in an OSGI environment (like eclipse).
The OSGI part is a compile time dependency only, runtime is unchanged. Regards, Leen
