Hello, I submitted a proposal to FOSDEM to give an introduction to Apache Hadoop. Fosdem is the "Free and Open Source Developers European Meeting" in Brussles and takes place on the first weekend in Feburary.
If there is any specific topic I should include in the presentation in particular, please let me know. I plan to post a link to the prelimanary version of the slides here in mid-January so you get a chance to review them. If you plan to attend Fosdem as well: feel free to contact me, maybe we can put together a small Hadoop meetup (involving some good Belgian beer) evening - probably after the NoSQL devroom day. One more thing: The organizers have sent me speaker-interview questions on Apache Hadoop. I have put my first draft of the answers online at my personal wiki http://fotos.isabel-drost.de - would be happy about any input that you can provide.
