Thanks @SEZ9; the distinction is fair. The mutation result proves the vertex future-completion mechanism, but does not establish the full SubPlan restore-wait -> forceStopPipeline -> exit DOING_SAVEPOINT scenario. My existing scoped approval should not be read as that end-to-end proof. Please state that boundary in the PR description, or add the focused SubPlan regression if it is included in this PR's acceptance scope. #12511 remains an open merge-order prerequisite in the live check, so its eventual integration still needs reconciliation. No revert commit is requested. This is an unchanged-head discussion reply, not another complete source review.
