Thanks @DanielLeens. #13000 merged on 2026-11-05, so I have rebased this branch on the current `dev`. It no longer carries #13000's commits: new head `3ef45a1e8`, diff against `dev` is 2 files, +147. No source changes in this push — only the rebase you asked for. The unbounded-clarification-loop limitation remains as discussed; I will file it as a separate issue rather than pick a round limit here, since what should happen when the counter trips is a behaviour decision.
