Closing this issue as completed after rechecking the original report and its resolution. The stale cached JDBC connection path is fixed: a connection held by a writer is checked before reuse and replaced when it is no longer usable. This addresses the idle/expired pooled connection described in this thread. Resolution evidence: - [PR #11678](https://github.com/apache/seatunnel/pull/11678), merged into `dev` on 2026-08-23 ([merge commit `b8d5405f440b`](https://github.com/apache/seatunnel/commit/b8d5405f440b685f842546bd2feb98a37eb3bcf7)). The corresponding implementation remains present in [`dev` at `14a27ac26a0a`](https://github.com/apache/seatunnel/commit/14a27ac26a0a71b56722f86cdf8ec2779094ceaf). This closes the stale cached-connection defect.
