Thanks @goutamadwant for opening #12942 and #12943, and for keeping the bounded-file recovery fix and PostgreSQL fencing separate. One thing before review of the HA PR proceeds: the earlier request in this thread was to add a reviewed STIP-41 follow-up under #11857 (controller graph and ownership model, active-master handoff contract, supported failure model, HA replica/`backup-count` validation, and a reproducible K3s failure matrix) before a production implementation PR was opened. I don't see that follow-up linked here yet. Could you either link it, or put the design and the failure-test matrix (manifests, commands, expected status/cancel behaviour, checkpoint-restore, record-integrity and cleanup evidence for active-master, standby-master, worker and owner/controller loss) into the #12943 description, so the ownership, terminal-status and cleanup changes can be reviewed against the merged single-master contract? #12942 can be reviewed independently as the prerequisite.
