Thanks for clarifying the scope. PR #12907 is now ready for review, with the Ingres support kept within the existing Jdbc connector. The 27 focused tests pass, and the integration-test module builds successfully with its dependencies. I've also fixed the comment-style issue caught by CI and rerun the specification checks locally; the new GitHub build is still running. The PR maps the tests to the proposed behavior and records an unrelated JDBC test failure reproduced on the unchanged base. Real-server validation is still open because I don't have a licensed Ingres instance. The opt-in test and setup instructions are included so that validation can be completed when an instance is available. I'd appreciate your feedback on this first slice.
