I will take this with a focused MySQL-only fix. I plan to preserve the declared precision and scale for signed DECIMAL values up to MySQL’s limits, define the unsigned rule explicitly, and cover source conversion plus generated MySQL DDL for DECIMAL(65,0) and DECIMAL(50,30).
