Classification: A / Connector-V2 File Excel numeric fidelity. The current generator converts DECIMAL through `double`, while the reader formats numeric cells before parsing them, so the two precision-loss points are independent and the round-trip report is credible. #12802 is the single focused remediation. The PR must retain a deliberate, documented representation for high-precision DECIMAL values rather than claiming Excel numeric cells can preserve arbitrary decimal precision, and test DOUBLE plus representative exact DECIMAL values through both writer and reader paths.
