Hi @chl-wxp, thanks for reporting #10623 and for starting this fix. The large-batch OOM is a real problem for batch imports, and I'd like to help get it over the line. Are you still planning to continue this PR? It looks like it has been quiet since April, and @davidzollo asked for a rebase in July and August. If you no longer have time for it, I'd be happy to take it over: rebase onto the latest `dev`, address @DanielLeens's review (a bounded writer rotation that stays correct in upsert mode), and add tests. I'd build on your approach and keep you as a co-author. If you'd rather continue yourself, no problem at all, just let me know.
