The modal-session counter is doing all the work here: every open/close bumps it, and a completing save from an older session refreshes the list but can't touch a newer session's open state or its form. The repro in the test (edit A → submit → cancel → open B → A resolves) is the exact sequence that used to wipe B. -- This is an automated message from the Apache Git Service.
