### What happened Native alert `==` and `!=` use Double.compare, which treats -0.0 and +0.0 as different. A rule with a -0.0 threshold therefore fails equality against a measured zero, or incorrectly fires inequality. The other numeric operators treat the values as equal. AlertRuleSemanticFingerprint already explicitly normalizes either zero threshold to the same semantic identity. ### Reproduction Evaluate an available zero sample with a native `== -0.0` or `!= -0.0` rule. The first condition is false and the second true, including when a percentage threshold is normalized. Thresholds can be supplied as negative zero through JSON. ### Expected correction Use numeric equality semantics consistently for both operators, with regression coverage for both sign orders, percent thresholds, and ordinary unequal values. No API or rule syntax change is needed. -- This is an automated message from the Apache Git Service.
