@masayuki2009 , @acassis , @lucasssvaz and @acassis : the PR was updated with an alternative (correct) fix for the problem. In fact, this a xtensa-specific behavior (other architectures aren't affected by this) and the proposal was explained in the commit's message, in the PR description, and in the code itself.
