Thanks for the effort to make ESP32Cx QENC usable again. From the longer perspective, the events enable should be selectable because for some specific applications where limits are low and the events frequency is very high there can be problem that system is overloaded/blocked by interrupts. But for the most applications the actual fix would help a little.
