@sbernauer This is definitely a good change in my opinion. I like it. Since you are using same approach to ingest data as we do, you might be interested to talk more about it, especially when it comes to the schema evolution. I have a bunch of changes on our end designed specifically for that, I bet it would be mutually beneficial to share them with you and later on upstream them.
