When a 1.x writer creates a table with hoodie.write.table.version below 8, TableBuilder persists only hoodie.table.keygenerator.type, plus hoodie.table.keygenerator.class for USER_PROVIDED key generators. Hudi 0.x only knows hoodie.table.keygenerator.class, so it sees a table without a key generator and silently falls back to the write config, which can disagree with how the table was written. The 8 to 7 downgrade handler already writes the class for exactly this reason. Table creation below version 8 should do the same. -- This is an automated message from the Apache Git Service.
