Review Comment:
   The overhead of a SingletonList is minimal, it is just wrapping a record 
similar to what we will be doing by introducing any wrapper class.
   
   I agree with @danny0405 though that it makes most sense to have some 
interface and two sub-classes here so the common case of a single ordering 
field is as straightforward as possible. My preference is also to have the name 
reflect the use case here instead of being overly general at this point. If we 
find a second use case, we can update names at that point.
