### Describe the subtask **Priority:** P0 (C7) **Problem:** `executeInTransaction` is declared on `EntityStore`, but the only implementation throws `UnsupportedOperationException` and nothing calls it. The method suggests callers can compose store operations atomically when they cannot, which is also why every multi-step invariant turns into a new backend-specific method. **Scope:** Either remove the method, or define what a transaction spans (cache invalidation and change-log records after commit, nested transactions, #13005) and implement it.
