pick #69327 Adaptations for branch-4.2: - Implement FE cleanup in the legacy IcebergTransaction with its retained catalog-generation lease. Clean failed-commit files before lease release and preserve files when Iceberg reports an unknown commit state. - Include sorted-writer close error propagation already present in the original PR's baseline, because outer failure cleanup on 4.2 would otherwise miss a failed file close.
