The Chinese 4.x references still described several pre-4.1.5 contracts, including optional external type mappings, disabled File Cache defaults, and unsupported Flight SQL parameter binding. Update the affected references and upgrade guidance against the final 4.1.5 release code. ### Scope and method - Audit `apache/doris` `4.1.4.1...4.1.5-release`: 346 commits (303 touching production code and 43 test/CI/tool/dependency commits). - Combine deterministic interface/configuration diffs with per-commit review, final-tag source checks, release-tag checks, and independent cross-review. - Update 81 Chinese 4.x pages, including a new Meta Service configuration reference. Record the workflow lessons in the release-docs skill reference. ### Corrections and additions - Document upgrade-breaking inverted-index V1 configuration/creation restrictions, fixed-arity UDFs, removed native format, changed defaults, permissions, and explicit migration of legacy year-zero DATE files. - Correct forced Catalog binary/timezone mappings and TVF timezone mappings; retain the independently configurable TVF binary option. Fix Iceberg fixed/UUID widths, zoned JDBC mappings, ORC DATE mapping, and Parquet/ORC timestamp/export semantics. - Add ordinary Flight SQL typed prepared binding, limits, forwarding restrictions, schema metadata, session timezone annotations, and resource cleanup. - Cover Paimon Rust reading and refresh, Hive static/mixed partitions, Iceberg historical schemas/specs/errors, background-job compute-group binding, CDC identity/retries, AI resource property groups and ownership. - Correct SQL function edge cases and return types, add IK/ngram and regex controls, update metrics/cache statistics, and preserve legacy function heading anchors. - Fix existing incorrect version/default claims: File Cache and Hive static partition support, Peer reads, norms, Profile level, WEEK origin, PARSE_DATA_SIZE units/type, and FORMAT_ROUND type. ### Deliberate exclusions and synchronization - Chinese 4.x only. English and dev synchronization awaits user review; no other version/locale or shared sidebar was changed. - Per the user's scope decision, leave Lance documentation/version corrections, native Variant V2 Flight output and related Variant V2 material, and the Backend Selection extension framework in the local audit report only. Do not advertise incomplete index mutations or no-op affinity behavior. - `admin-manual/config/ms-config.md` is linked from the existing configuration-directory page. Its shared sidebar entry awaits the English page. - Community compiler/platform documentation is outside this round. Thrift 0.24 and the ARM/libunwind follow-ups are recorded in the audit; the applicable Thrift upgrade impact is included in 4.x. - No in-scope capability remains without a documentation home. The full audit report stays outside this PR in `plan-doc/doris-4.1.5-doc-review.md`. ### Validation - Skill static validator: 81 site documents passed, including front matter, language, relative links, MDX, forbidden topics and tables. - Docusaurus slugger: 48 added relative links/fragments passed. - `git diff --check` passed.
