### Search before asking - [X] I had searched in the [issues](https://github.com/apache/doris/issues?q=is%3Aissue) and found no similar issues. ### Description Currently loading data using the MySQL LOAD DATA syntax does not support specifying CHARACTER SET. The character set is part of the current MySQL spec and sent by existing tools that use the LOAD DATA syntax. https://dev.mysql.com/doc/refman/5.7/en/load-data.html ```sql LOAD DATA [LOW_PRIORITY | CONCURRENT] [LOCAL] INFILE 'file_name' [REPLACE | IGNORE] INTO TABLE tbl_name [PARTITION (partition_name [, partition_name] ...)] [CHARACTER SET charset_name] [{FIELDS | COLUMNS} [TERMINATED BY 'string'] [[OPTIONALLY] ENCLOSED BY 'char'] [ESCAPED BY 'char'] ] [LINES [STARTING BY 'string'] [TERMINATED BY 'string'] ] [IGNORE number {LINES | ROWS}] [(col_name_or_user_var [, col_name_or_user_var] ...)] [SET col_name={expr | DEFAULT} [, col_name={expr | DEFAULT}] ...] ``` ### Solution Allow the use of specifying CHARACTER SET when using the LOAD DATA syntax. ``` LOAD DATA LOCAL INFILE '/path/to/local/demo.txt' INTO TABLE demo.load_local_file_test CHARACTER SET xxx ``` ### Are you willing to submit PR? - [ ] Yes I am willing to submit a PR! ### Code of Conduct - [X] I agree to follow this project's [Code of Conduct](https://www.apache.org/foundation/policies/conduct) -- This is an automated message from the Apache Git Service.
