### Search before asking - [X] I had searched in the [issues](https://github.com/apache/doris/issues?q=is%3Aissue) and found no similar issues. ### Version 2.0.3 ### What's Wrong? Java: OpenJDK 17 Doris: 2.0.3 The `JAVA_OPTS_FOR_JDK_9` env property in the FE config file `fe.conf` provides three references to the CMS garbage collector. This garbage collector was removed in Java 14. ``` -XX:+CMSClassUnloadingEnabled -XX:-CMSParallelRemarkEnabled -XX:CMSInitiatingOccupancyFraction=80 ``` This leads to a crash on startup with the following message. ` `` ./bin/start_fe.sh ``` ``` Unrecognized VM option 'CMSClassUnloadingEnabled' Error: Could not create the Java Virtual Machine. Error: A fatal exception has occurred. Program will exit. ``` ### What You Expected? I expect the FE to start successfully. The three references to the CMS garbage collector could be removed, or a new env variable `JAVA_OPTS_FOR_JDK_14` could be introduced. ``` -XX:+CMSClassUnloadingEnabled -XX:-CMSParallelRemarkEnabled -XX:CMSInitiatingOccupancyFraction=80 ``` ### How to Reproduce? Use JDK 17. Start the frontend with the `start_fe.sh` script. ### Anything Else? _No response_ ### Are you willing to submit PR? - [ ] Yes I am willing to submit a PR! ### Code of Conduct - [X] I agree to follow this project's [Code of Conduct](https://www.apache.org/foundation/policies/conduct) -- This is an automated message from the Apache Git Service.
