### The required feature described as a wish As the IT landscape evolves, an increasing number of organizations are migrating away from traditional VMware solutions due to licensing complexities and cost considerations. While KVM-based solutions offer great flexibility, many organizations miss the simplicity and integrated management provided by VMware vSphere (ESXi + vCenter). Proxmox VE has emerged as a strong open-source alternative, combining ease of use, stability, and enterprise-level features similar to VMware vSphere. However, it currently lacks a robust multi-tenant cloud interface. Integrating Proxmox VE as a supported, first-class hypervisor within Apache CloudStack would bridge this gap, providing users with a powerful, simple-to-deploy virtualization and cloud-management stack. Projects like Multiportal (https://multiportal.io) already highlight the growing interest in enhanced cloud-management layers for Proxmox. I believe that native Proxmox VE support in CloudStack could significantly increase adoption and benefit many organizations. Would others in the community also support adding Proxmox VE as an officially supported hypervisor? Thank you for considering this feature request. -- This is an automated message from the Apache Git Service.
