I have a case with cloudstack 4.20 and 4 blade hosts at Red Hat 8.10 (2 hpe bl460c gen9 and 2 cisco b200 m3). I can issue on/off/cycle commands from OOBM with no issue. The HA behavior is this: I go on the cli of a host and type shutdown now. After 9 minutes i witness events stating that the fencing is completed and VMs are started on a new node. Can I somehow control the time it takes for them to restart on new nodes? As another test, i initiated a gracefull reboot from hypervisor cli. After 1,5 to 2 minutes I witnessed 1 event per VM of that host, stating "Out of band VM power off". After another 2 minutes the same. After a 3rd 2 minutes the same, followed by a statement "Restarting VM for HA". VMs restarted on same host Is any of this configurable? I will try to "crash" the blade server using other methods too, currently all I can think off is dropping network comms and power cycle from OOBM. -- This is an automated message from the Apache Git Service.
