I don't think the issue is fixed though (Or can be fixed by us). See e.g.

It looks like each user will need to add this to her settings.xml:
<pluginGroups>
<pluginGroup>org.apache.cayenne.plugins</pluginGroup>
</pluginGroups>
Will need to document it
