Thought as much: This is CASSANDRA-6472, which is fixed as part of
CASSANDRA-5549. But since this seems to be causing pain it's probably worth
splitting out a patch for it, especially since it's not clear if it will make
2.1. I've also included a fix for the issue yukim mentioned in IRC. I don't
think there's a JIRA for it, but essentially it sometimes prevents prompt log
recycling, and actually would affect this same test.
