Right, I'm saying that given S-including-hash-of-A, what you want is to take A
*out* when you add A'. Otherwise, if you have a node that (correctly) has A',
but doesn't know about A (maybe it was compacted out before it got to build S),
then it won't agree on the same state S even though it has the same data.
