FYI, there is a second CVE reported for lz4 which is fixed only in version
1.10.1 of the forked community library.
FWIW in terms of risk of using a different lib: other users of the dormant
lz4:lz4 library switch to the fork already, e.g. Elasticsearch via
[PR138806|https://github.com/elastic/elasticsearch/pull/138806] and
[PR139221|https://github.com/elastic/elasticsearch/pull/139221]
