1) please keep in mind that this is turned off by default and a user has to 
opt-in into this so "it may affect dev/test instances" is not entirely accurate 
unless somebody explicitly enables this in logback.xml. I think there is also a 
system property to tweak the limit as well. I do not mind lowering this to 10k 
if it makes you more satisfied though.
