My employer measures this outside of the driver but I see the usefulness in exposing it in a simpler way. I'm opposed to adding even more observers for this niche case. Instead, maybe a `TotalStart` and `TotalEnd` to the existing structs, or even just add a `Total time.Duration` that is inclusive of all of the attempts. -- This is an automated message from the Apache Git Service.
